Playstation 3 80GB Console

The new Playstation 3 80GB will be released in the UK on 22 August 2008.
Sony have introduced the PS3 80gb games console to the European market ahead of the US and it is set to replace the previous PS3 40GB model which has been available to the UK video games consumer from the autumn of 2007.

The new PS3 80GB is an upgrade over previous PS3 game consoles due to an increased HD drive capacity to 60GB. Unfortunately the PS3 80 GB console reviewed here still has no backward capacity to play older PS2 games. Still what is offered here is a games console that features a high specification that will keep even the most demanding of gamers happy for at least 4 years to come.

The new Playstation 3 80gb console that is being shipped now includes Sony's next generation DualShock 3 Wireless controller. The Dualdhock on it's own retails at about £30 so this latest package from the Sony stable is attractively priced.

Playstation Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller

The DualShock 3 controller is the much anticipated games console controller from Sony.
